Yes, it's true: we all have to buckle up when we ride in a car.  But many of us forget that it's equally important for Fido to be secure in the vehicle. One of my closest friends was in a horrific automobile accident and her small dog was hurled into the dashboard.  She survived but it took months to restore her to normal.  Your dog doesn't belong in your lap, hanging out the window or in the back of a pick up truck.
